New York- June 6, 2008-Tilly Rivers is not your everyday author nor does she want to be.
She is a self-motivated woman who has the continued drive to “think outside the box” coupled with an abnormal energy level that welcomes challenge. A mischievous imp with a burning hunger for more.
Her hobbies range from reading up-to-date business related news to the newest “edge- of-your-seat” mystery novels. Playing various fun sport activities such as sky diving to hiking. She practices Yoga, loves to swim and tries to stay in shape. “However” she says, “When you place an Asian meal of heavenly smells under my nose diet and fitness loose and tongue tingling pleasure wins!” She believes in more, learning more, growing more and being more. “It is my challenge to be all that I can be.” Rivers is an internationally renowned, best seller, award winning author, radio show host, new food critic for our organization, public speaker, award winning poet and fellow author mentor. Also this summer she will be starting a group called ; The Lover, an online venue teaching Tantra; The essential energy meld, as well as other ‘pleasure central’ topics.

She began her career as an erotica writer in the year 2000. Started off freelance and quickly became the most sought after writer in the industry. After writing for nearly two years in the freelance world for some of the top adult and men’s interest magazines in the USA, Tilly was approached from a Publishing House negotiating a deal for the first of what was to come a succession of novels.
No one would have predicted, not even Tilly herself the rapid sales growth and reputation built. Her books have sold hundreds of thousands of copies. She has been interviewed and sought after by everyone who is anyone in the sexual prose industry.
Not only is she a renowned award-winning author, with an honors university degree in Marketing and Advertising as well as a college degree in computer and business fundamentals. Tilly is a process-driven individual who understands the importance of ensuring that all-important functions within her career are system dependent and not person dependent.
Her goal is to finish Forbidden Fruit and her winter tour, when Rivers called me to announce that this will be her last novel I was quite candidly floored with the news. her announcement distressed her fans, supporters and media alike. After sending out the first unofficial announcement, I had over 4,000 emails in two hours! Everyone was in complete shock and awe that Tilly will no longer be writing after this release and tour.
Recently she has been approached by several adult organizations regarding the possibility of them sponsoring her tour. Tilly does not plan on mentioning who these companies are until she has made a firm decision. There are two USA companies, and two Canadian companies who have offered similar proposals that we are aware of- if there are more Tilly is not saying, her only comment was she was sure the ‘extra’ attention is due to her announcement. My reply back was, of course it is, anyone of these organizations know that this being your last tour will generate even more sales than normal.
Tilly says she would like to thank her fans for their continued support and letters- as well as a special thank you for New York City- where her career really took off. Her reason for “retiring?” Tilly said that due to personal health issues she wishes to make her friends and family the most important focus in her life.
