Paint a Window
When it is not so nice outside, create some color on the window!
With this washable paint your creative cuties will be able to add some color to a grey, rainy day.
This also causes a great stained-glass look when the weather turns sunny.
You will need:
½ Tablespoon powdered tempera paint
(If you do not have powdered paint you can substitute ½ cup of liquid tempera paint)
1 Tablespoon clear dish soap
Containers to put your paint into
(A great and green idea for this is to reuse yogurt or pudding cups. Anything small hand sized is great)
Combine the paint powder and the dish soap until it looks “creamy”.
Line the window sill with either newspaper or tape. Once the area is ready let your little genius get creative, they can use brushes, sponges, or the best tool of all, their fingers.
When it is time to clean up or start over, just wipe it off with a dry or damp paper towel or rag.
Make a Wallet Collage for Fathers Day
Give Dad something he can carry all year long.
You will need:
Pictures
Bristol Board (or for a greener idea, a piece of cereal box or other stiff cardboard from the recycling bin))
Stickers
Glue
Crayons or Markers
Cut a Credit Card size piece of Bristol Board
Decorate with your pictures, stickers and coloring supplies
It is as easy as that
You might also like to add a peel and stick lamination which you can find in most Dollar Stores or Craft Supply Stores
Happy Fathers Day!
Have Fun, and always be Creative!
