Fashion Jewelry Trends for Spring 2008; 5 ways to make your jewelry "pop"

Author: Julia White

The Spring 2008 fashion jewelry trends are all about "pop". Wondering what to wear with your trendy neon shirtdress or bold black and white safari print skirt? Don't be afraid to continue the trend with a pop of color and style in your jewelry. The following are the top five ways to pop up your style this season.
#1 Compliment Your Color Palette: Bright colors are in this Spring. From fluorescent yellow to neon green, Spring 2008 fashion has put a sophisticated twist on the colors made popular in the 80's. But, don't break out your old lace gloves and rubber bracelets just yet. The modern "Material Girl" knows this Spring's fashion jewelry trends are all about complimenting the outfit not overpowering it.
#2 Know When Less Color Is More: When wearing a solid bright color, pick jewelry in more minimal colors. For example, wear a soft orange colored pair of earrings with your neon orange dress. Gold and silver tones are also great to do this. Add a pop of style with the size of the jewelry pieces you choose. Add a chunky bracelet, a large fleur-de-lis necklace, or big hoopearrings.
#3 Pop Not Peacock: Multicolored prints are also in this year. It is not necessary to represent every color of your outfit in the jewelry you wear. Instead, choose jewelry that pulls out one color from the print. It is recommended that you pick a color that is less prevalent. This technique is a subtle way to draw the eye to both your outfit and your accessories.
#4 The Little Black Dress With A Kick: Black and white is considered the "new black" this season. Don't make a mistake and think that you can only wear black and white accessories. After all, you don't want to look like you stepped out of an old black and white movie. Add a pop to your look with brightly colored accessories. It's amazing how a thick red bangle, a yellow choker, or a bright blue (yes, I said blue) pair of earrings can bring depth to a monochrome outfit. The trick is to pick one bright color and wear it sparingly. This fashion jewelry trend is fun and glamorous.
#5 Don't Go Overboard: It is possible that you may find a great chunky jewelry set with a necklace, earrings, ring and bracelet. Although you may love all four pieces, try not to wear them all at once. Instead, pick one or two (depending on the size) jewelry pieces that will bring attention to your or your outfit's best feature. If you are wearing a sleeveless halterdress, stack on the bracelets or a ring. Want to add emphasis to your neckline? Put on a necklace. Mixing and matching pieces is fine. Just make sure you don't go overboard with the same size, color, or style. Wearing too much pop can turn you from a fashion jewelry trend setting diva, to grandma with each extra item you put on.

Remember, the goal isto compliment your new Spring look, not distract from it.

Brief History of Ladies Nightwear

Author: Amanda Cotterill

Ladies' nightwear is big business today, with numerous styles from which to choose. In today's world, it is difficult toimagine a time when specific nightwear did not exist. Yet specialized nightwear is actually a fairly recent invention. Provided here is a brief guide to ladies' nightwear.

Chemises
Chemises can be traced to the tunic-like garments worn in ancient cultures. By the Middle Ages, the chemise had developed into an early form of underwear. The long garments protected clothing from sweat and body oils, and were the only clothing items to be washed on a regular basis. Chemises were also worn for sleeping. Both men and women simply removed their outer garments and slept in their chemises. In the morning, they put the outer clothing back on.

Negligees
Negligees are believed to be the first widely distributed example of ladies' nightwear. The first negligee was introduced in France in the 1700s. At the time, the revolutionary new garment was designed to serve a utilitarian purpose. It was long and heavy, as were the gowns of the era. Negligees kept pace with dress styles, and in the 1920s they began to mirror the short satin evening dresses that were then popular. These shorter and lighter ladies' nightwear pieces were definitely sexy, but were not specifically designed as such. It was not until after World War II that negligees were designed as sexy lingerie pieces.

Nightshirts/ Nightgowns
Nightshirts and nightgowns developed around the early 20th century. They are natural successors of the earlier chemises. Nightshirts are generally mid-thigh length and cut simply. Dormshirts are a more modern evolution of the nightshirt, generally featuring cartoon characters or slogans and worn as appropriately modest ladies' nightwear in communal living situations. Nightgowns vary widely in design. In modern times, the lines between negligees and nightshirts have been heavily blurred. In general, nightgowns are longer and heavier, perhaps made of cotton or flannel. Negligees are shorter and sexier, in sensual fabrics like silk.

Pajamas
The original pajamas can be traced to at least the 17th century in South and West Asia. By the 18th century, British missionaries had adopted the style as sleepwear for men and boys. In the early 20th century, pajamas replaced nightshirts as the usual sleepwear style for males in the UK. However, it was not until much later that pajamas became a popular form of sleepwear for females in Western society. Although previously available, pajamas did not begin to outstrip nightgowns in sales until the mid-1980s. Today, pajamas are available for women in a wide variety of styles and colors. Pajamas pants with a T-shirt or tank top have now become a popular outerwear style as well, particularly for teens and young adults.

Lingerie Styles
Today, nearly anything can be worn as ladies' nightwear. However, many women love silk lingerie styles for their luxurious sex appeal. You can find nightwear versions of all sorts of sexy lingerie items. Since the development of the chemise, ladies' nightwear has been through many changes. The nightwear of today offers a blend of comfort and luxury in a range of styles. Many women own a small lingerie collection that features both practical and sexy pieces. In this way, they are prepared for any occasion.

Nature Photography: Five Tips For Great Photos

Author: Andrew Goodall
Email: admin [@] naturesimage. com.au

Wildlife photography can be one of the most challenging and rewarding fields of nature photography. With digital cameras creating such widespread interest in all types of photography, new photographers all over the world are taking an interest in wildlife photography.

Most of the photography guides these days focus on the technical aspects of the camera: but really good photography relies more on composition, lighting, and sensitivity to your subject. This means you can improve your photography by thinking creatively, not technically. Here are five of my top tips for taking better wildlife photographs.

Wildlife Photography Tip #1. Get to the subject's eye level. Wildlife photos are most effective if they create anintimate connection between the subject and the viewer. The best way to do this is to take your photo at the subject's eye level. This way, the viewer can feel like they are looking at the subject from inside its little world, rather from the outside looking in. If, for example, your subject is low to the ground (like a lizard, frog, or even a pet), crouch or lie flat, getting as low as possible so you can take your photo at the subject's eye level.

Wildlife Photography Tip #2. It's All In The Eyes. The personal connection mentioned in tip #1 is really about eye contact, so it is important to get the eyes right. If the eyes in your wildlife photo are sharp and clear, the photo will probably work. If they are out of focus, lost in shadow, or if the subject blinks or turns its eyes away, the connection will be lost, and the photo will almost certainly fail. You don't even need your whole subject to be in focus. Your animal could be mostly hidden by leaves, in shadow and out of focus. The picture could still work...as long as the eyes are open and captured sharply in the picture.

Wildlife Photography Tip #3. If The Background Doesn'tHelp, Get Rid Of It. Many wildlife photos are spoiled because the background is cluttered, distracting, ugly, or just plain inappropriate. For example, seagulls on a beach can be quite beautiful, but seagulls at the local rubbish tip is a different matter. Also, wildlife photos look farless natural if you can tell they were taken in a zoo. Apply this principle: "Anything that does not make my photo better, makes it worse." This does not mean you can't take a good wildlife photo at the zoo, at the tip, or anywhere else for that matter. You just need to manage it. If your background is spoiling your shot, zoom right in on the subject to eliminate as much of the background as possible. By zooming in, you will also reduce the depth of field to a minimum, so any background that does appear in your photo will be out of focus and less distracting.

Wildlife Photography Tip #4. If Your Background Is WorkingFor You, Use It Well. A wildlife photograph that captures the subject in a beautiful natural setting can be even more effective than a simple close-up. My photos of a kangaroo on the beach, for example, show the subject in an unexpected context, making a more interesting image than a close-up portrait style photo. If you take your wildlife subject as part of a wider landscape, you need to consider all the techniques of composition that apply to landscape photography. Remember the rule of thirds (which may or may not help) and be careful to position your animal so that the subject and the background work together to make a more effective composition. In particular, try to have your wildlife subject looking into the picture, not out of it.

Wildlife Photography Tip #5. Capture your subject in thebest possible light. Even the most perfectly composed wildlife photo can fail because of bad lighting. Losing your subject in the shadows, glare reflecting off shiny feathers, and shadows across the face of the subject are all simple mistakes that can ruin a photo. There is no single rule for lighting in a wildlife photograph, but here are some suggestions. I often find the best results when the sky is lightly overcast with thin cloud. This produces light that is bright, but soft and even compared to full sunlight. Your subject will be well illuminated, but you avoid harsh contrast and heavy shadows that rob the image of important detail. If the weather is sunny, try to take your photos early andlate in the day when the sun is low. At these times the light is soft and warmly coloured. It is also easier to catch the full face of your subject in sunlight, rather than half-obscured by shadow.

So there you have my five tips for wildlife photography. I could cheat and add tip #6: take lots of photos. Animals move, blink, flap their wings, and generally find ways to frustrate the wildlife photographer. Don't forget, with digital photography it costs you nothing to keep snapping. So practice, persevere, and try out these tips...you could be taking better photos in no time.

John Deere Tractors: An American Success Story

Author: Mr.Andrew

John Deere tractors have been a farmland favorite for over two centuries. If you ever considered purchasing one, there are a few things you may want to know first. Tractors From Multi-Talented Company John Deere started in the early 1800s, manufacturing tools and machinery for agriculture. With a worldwide business and over 47,000 staff the 180 year old company is renowned for its tractors, which are the subject of this piece. It also markets arange of equipment for the construction and agricultural sectors, power tools and spares for its machines.

John Deere is mostly famous for its range of tractors. It manufactures about 13 different series of them, from 18HP to 450HP. We shall examine the pros and cons of its smallest model in greater detail, as it is the most relevant to amateur gardeners: the 2210 4WD compact tractor.

The liquid cooled diesel engine is economical to run and provides a respectable 23HP. This good looking tractor keeps its engine cool with a liberal coolant flow of 5.5 gallons a minute. The 4-wheel drive train can be switched from 4-wheel to 2-wheeldrive while the tractor is in operation.

If additional traction is required the wheels can be locked individually. It also features power points in the middle section and towards the rearto supply power to other equipment as required. Its hydraulic transmission makes for smooth gear shifting when you drive, while the power steering allows for easy changes of direction. The tractor was designed with ease and comfort of use in mind and features John Deere's proprietary Twin Touch™ two-pedal foot control. It is also worth noting the engine is isolated to keep the vibrations and resulting fatigue to the driver to a minimum.

The 2210 4WD engine is very dependable and allows operation upto the very last drop in the tank. The system bleeds itself automatically on refuel to get rid of any air and allow the engine to start on demand. The tractor also features wet disk brakes, immersed in oil for fast and reactive action. It is fully compliant with the ASAE, SAE and OSHA standards. For added security the engine will not fire up without a driverin the seat. Retail starts from $10,000.

The 2210 4WD tractor is very adaptable and can accommodate many accessories, such as a 54-inch blade that can instantly turn itinto a front-end loader. This nifty attachment comes with a curved in surface blade with heavy gauge construction and the rear of the blades feature a reinforced angle for additional strength. You can even tilt it by 30 degrees for increased effectiveness: it allows you to shift or level soil as required.

Thorough online search has not uncovered any negative reviews.

Battle of the Monthly Munchies: Curb Your PMS Cravings

Author: Holly Rigsby
Email: hollyrigsby [@] yahoo.com

How do you fight the "monthly munchies"? It really seems a losing battle! I had a "cheat meal" for dinner/ dessert and yet, even knowing I was over where Iwanted to be calorically, the only chocolate in the house HAD to go into my tummy... and now I am having another snack because I was starving! What is it that the female body is looking for at that "PMS" time??

Yes - those undeniable monthly munchies.... . I cannot tell you HOW many times I and so many women have looked up from an empty bag of cookies, chips or even the pint of icecream in the garbage and said - "Now what was that all about?"..... Then it hits us..."OH - it must be my monthly cravings!" We can get so caught up in the habit of mindless eating that the results of the monthly cravings can be downright devastating! Not only for our body, but for our peace of mind. How can we ever forgive ourselves for going overboard?!

Awareness is KEY to gaining control and minimizing the effect these cravings have. I suggest taking the time to jot down on your calendar when you feel....low energy, slight irritability (which has decreased tremendously for me - I will tell you why in a minute) and of course uncalled for cravings. After a couple months of doing this you will SEE a Pattern!

This allows you to plan ahead and Anticipate when those feeling will hit. You can plan your meals, your activities, your workload, etc. By knowing - you can account for the craving splurges. With this also comes the understanding that one week with a couple extra splurges is NOT going to hurt you. Your appetite will naturally increase. We actually need more calories premenstrually, so it would make sense we might experience more cravings if we're short on energy.

In fact, afterwards you will be even more motivated to"work it off" - I actually feel lighter once this phase passes - even what I describe as a strange sense of freedom for cravings DO tend to take over and cause us to experience an uncomfortable lack of control. Manage those Monthly Cravings! When you know a food cravingis going to strike, you can make substitutions instead of simply surrendering. Map it out. Anticipate when it those cravings are coming.

Yes it's okay to give in to some, just in moderation, then you get right back on track. Eat balanced meals every 3 to 4 hours. Eat carbs, protein and a little fat with every meal and snack. Eating meals that are lacking in one kind of food, we may be more likely to crave it later. Eating often keeps your appetite under control.

Craving-proof your home. The simplest way to quash a craving is to ban crave-worthy foods from your environment. If you do buy snack foods like chips or cookies, choose small packages or individually wrapped portions to avoid going overboard. Meanwhile, here are three ways to make healthy, low-fat snacks easily available for regular indulgence:

1. Cut up and bag fresh, munchable veggies....carrots,radishes, broccoli and celery stick ahead of time. Eat withlow-fat cheese or hummus.
2. Keep light microwave popcorn packages to have on hand, and sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on top.
3. Keep fruit washed and ready to slice into a container of low-fat yogurt.

Go Ahead! It's okay to have what you are craving. Allow yourself a single-sized portion as opposed to buying and eating a larger size. The most common food craved...Chocolate!

It does provide some natural mood boosters and endorphins, so have some...in moderation!

Using Green Tea for Lucid Dreams

Author: Richard Adams
Email: radams [@] merchantacco untforum. com

One of the more interesting experience is that a person can have is to experience lucid dreams. Although these may come in several different forms, the basic idea behind the mist is the fact that you will be able to remember the dream and actually realize that you are in a dream state while you are still asleep.

Many people strive to achieve lucid dreams because of the possibilities of being able to do whatever you want while you are actually having the dream. It is something that you should strive for and if you have never experienced it, you should do what you can to make sure that you have these on a regular basis.

One of the difficult parts about lucid dreams is the fact that they are very difficult to achieve on a consistent basis. There are some things that you can do and some supplements that can be taken, however, which can help you to achieve lucid dreaming on a regular basis. A good example of this is green tea, and some of the chemicals that are available in this tea will help you to achieve this type of dreaming if you use it along with some exercises that are available to help you to remember your dreams as well.

One of the best chemicals that can be used in order to help you to remember your dreams and to realize that you are dreaming is caffeine. Although it is possible to get caffeine in a number of different ways, including coffee and supplements, green tea is one of the better natural sources of caffeine that you can find. Since it occurs in green tea naturally, it is better for you than if you were to take a lot of supplements. Loading up on caffeine throughout the day by drinking green tea regularly will help you to reach this state of dreaming.

There are also a couple of other chemicals in green tea which are known to affect brain waves to a certain extent and can help you to achieve lucid dreaming. These includel-glutamine and l-theanine. Not only do these affect your brainwave lengths but they also may have a relaxing effecton the body which will help you to sleep after a day of loading up on a stimulant such as caffeine. There are also some other health benefits to these particular chemicals that would also make it beneficial for you to drink green tea throughout the day.

Although it is possible to get your green tea in a concentrated form as a supplement, it is always better to use it in its natural form by brewing it as a tea. In this way, you will be able to have all of the health benefits that are available from drinking the green tea along with the caffeine and other various products that will help youto achieve lucid dreaming.

Try it for yourself, and enjoy knowing that you are asleep and dreaming whatever way you like.

Writing For Children

Author: Alan Williams

From a philosophical treatise to a picture book story I guess there is only one reason why anyone feels the urge to write. There is a story inside that is bursting to be set free. And once the word is out hundreds and even thousands of story ideas start vying for position, demanding to be heard. But when the writing bug really takes hold there is nothing on earth that will halt the unstoppable force…writing becomes part of life!

Why write for children?
I'm often asked this question and there's a simple answer. Writing fantasy adventure for the younger reader is so much fun. It allows for much greater creativity and freedom of imagination. Even though it requires the same strict disciplines that other forms of writing demand, ideas can go in so many more directions. Animals can talk! Cars can fly! People can disappear and reappear. As long as there is a plausible reason, anything is possible. Worlds, even universes can collide… all in the name of entertainment. And when I start writing for children that is my over riding goal. I want to entertain, to take them on an exciting journey of discovery where nothing else in the worldmatters, where they just want to snuggle up, keep turning the pages until they get to the very end.

Ideas… The first question I am always asked by non-writers is…where do you get your ideas from? The truth is most writers eventually accumulate more ideas than they will ever use in one single lifetime. That may sound rather blasé but it's true. Writers become idea magnets. Their thoughts become so tuned-in to life that it becomes second nature to turn every interesting situation into the next big storyline. Unfortunately that's not to say that every idea is going to be the next bestseller of blockbuster movie. But in all essence, ideas are everywhere: personal life, every day life, in the past, dreams, overheard gossip even. To the trained mind even a germ of information can form the beginning, middle, or even the ending of a storyline. However, even a brilliant idea does not guarantee success. Writing is a craft that requires discipline, hard work and determination, and…a spark of luck!

Ideas for children… For children make-belief is not a game. Just watch any child acting out their fantasies in the playground. Their imaginations are so powerful, their minds so fresh and receptive. For them, make-belief is real. They can invent so many characters, situations, rules and regulations that just have to be adhered to. For me, the brainstorming process usually starts visually; I see something of interest in my mind's eye. I'm always aware that when writing for children it's vital that everything must be plausible and believable. But most of all the reading experience should be exciting, fun, even scary.

Children lovef antasy, to be taken on a very special journey of discovery where reality is suspended and they can escape into that magical world called… make-believe. Archy the Flying Dolphin & The Vampire's Curse by Alan Williams follows the story of eleven year old Thomas Parkinson and hissister, Suzy, who spend a summer vacation with Uncle Fibber, anex fisherman who lives at Sneaky Cove. After listening to one ofhis scary stories, Thomas and Suzy reenact his sea-faring adventure on the nearby beach and find a dolphin trapped inside the wreck of an old fishing trawler. But they soon realize that they've invoked an evil curse that has banished their beloved uncle into the never-ending darkness. So they are compelled to find the only person able to break the evil curse. Trouble is Victoria von Vampire loves to boil kids in her Coffin Pot Stew.

A Taste of Italy: The Tuscan Kitchen

Author: Adam Peters

The Tuscan decor is a no-brainer for the kitchen, as cuisine is one of the big things in that style! If there's any room in your house that should be designed in the Tuscan style, it's the kitchen, because that's the one roomin the house that exemplifies what the Tuscan style is all about- food, and a lot of family to share it with!

Tuscany is a region in Italy famous for its rolling hills, vineyards, and rustic old farmhouses, and the Tuscan decor reflects this. There's nothing "modern" about Tuscan decor(although that doesn't mean you have to get rid of your efficient microwave, let alone your oven and refrigerator! ), it's all about warm tones, lots of pots and pans, sheafs of herbs and spices, and sunshine. Let sunshine flood into your kitchen.

It's all the better if you have a view from your windows of a large backyard with plenty of children playing while they wait for dinner, but even if your view is of another house across the street, it's worth it to let the sun in. If you live in an apartment, you may or may not have a window view...but you can always place a mural depicting a sunny scene in such a place that you can enjoy it while you work on the dinner.

Let the wall of the kitchen glow with that sunlight as well. Light shades - not white but beige or gold, will glow with the sunshine. There's little you can do with the refrigerator, the oven, andt he microwave - in these days you need those modern conveniences. But there's lots you can do with the actual decor in the kitchen. Even though you may never use them, acquire some cast iron pots to place on the oven. Visit your local home furnishing stores and acquire traditional Italian cookware and utensils to provide an authentic look to the kitchen.

What does traditional Italian cookware and accessories consist of? Well, glass jars are an essential, so that food stuffs like dried beans or pasta will be in plain sight. Pewter and copperpots and pans will reflect the light and make great decorations when they are not in use. Once you've gotten your kitchen designed the way you like it, the next thing to do is make sure you can cook Italian food!

Lots and lots of pasta, spaghetti, pizza (made the Italian way, not the American way) and canoli - those are the proper foods to be cooking in a Tuscan kitchen!

Review of New York; New York Hotel and Casino

Author: Adel Awwad

New York New York Hotel & Casino is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. A visit to this casino is close to an actual visit to New York City, complete with the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. This resort facility replicates the New York skyline, including the Empire State Building.

The lower floor of the casino is surrounded with small shops like one would see if in the City itself. A tourist standing on the second floor balcony is treated to the view of the casino floor and the shops that border the casino tables and games. If you come to the casino from across the street, you can come over the bridge that crosses the Strip directly into the New York New York second floor. The hotel amenities are first class with well-appointed rooms and extras, if wanted, like whirlpool baths. They do offer special packages if confirmed via the Internet or phone.

It is worth the effort to arrange a package deal, as there could be a savings on the room rate for a several days' stay. The casino offers a normal range of Las Vegas gaming and excitement. The other offers of the casino are a sports book and an old time Irish Pub. There is also a stage show with different entertainers throughout the year. The shops that border the casino floor offer a variety of items and food services.

The ambience of the entire facility is intended to make the guest feel the vibes of a New York visit. With its location in the heart of the Strip, the New York NewYork is convenient to any of the other Las Vegas attractions that a visitor wants to see while in town. As with most LasVegas casinos, they do have special accommodations for VIP guests who are above average gaming enthusiasts.

If a customer wants special treatment, the way to get it is to ask for it. Let the hotel know what you want; you may be surprised at how easy it is for them to arrange for your desires. There are many unusual places to visit and stay in Las Vegas. The New York New York should be on any visitor's list of places to see while in town. Stop in for a bite to eat, a drink, and maybe a little table action.

This casino is worth the visit for any tourist. The New York City feeling is remarkably real to all who stop by.

Collins, have been in the trenches of show business for several years, knocking out audiences with their rich harmonies, powerful self written songs, as well as doing their own renditions of songs from Stevie Nicks to Pat Benatar, and with the aggressive guitar works of E.G. Collins, Barby's deep lush vocals truly deliver the goods.
Of course, for years Barby Collins had been performing in countless stage musicals, from Rock to Country groups, with a longing for something more, which was to study the art of songwriting much more closely, and to create music and lyrics that are truly passionate, with substance of melody, not just 2-chord boredom. On that mark arrived session guitarist Eddie Collins, or E.G. Collins as he is known, who shared the same passion, and together they shared the same influences like Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Vince Gill, Don Henley, Brooks & Dunn, Sugarland, Bon Jovi, among others.
Barby & E.G. Collins have always called Niagara Falls, Canada home but not for too much longer - it will be no surprise to see Memphis Rain become a fixture in Nashville, Tennessee's music scene. "We love this business far too much," says E.G. Collins. "To write emotion and lyric that people out there love hearing us perform is the most rewarding thing in the world, especially when people are singing the words to our songs along with us, I mean, that's just too much....what could be more fulfilling....it's just fantastic!"
So it's really no surprise - with a new CD out, and another hanging on the wall at Niagara's Hard Rock Cafe in honour of all their shows performed there, it's off to Music City, and then beyond. Memphis Rain's new album, '12 Hours To Midnight', is now available online at CD Baby .

What is Embarrassment?

Author:Gary M. Miller

Embarrassment is a form of emotion that makes us feel professionally or socially wrong in regards towards, thoughts and actions, as perceived and pointed out to us by other people. This can result in some loss of personal dignity or honor, but the type and amount is all dependant on the situation at the time.

Embarrassment has been confused by some with shame. Shame is different in that the person who has been shamed has done something that to others or society is considered to be wrong morally. There are two main forms of embarrassment, including professional and personal. Each one has distinctive, but similar characteristics. Professional embarrassment or official embarrassment is defined by a lack of confidence in actions taken or the deliberate ignoring of evidence in work. When this involves embarrassment at work or on official business, this may have come as a result of the loss of materials, money or even life. Some examples of these include corrupt government practices, failure in public policies, unethical forms of behavior, personal actions and habits of a public figure that face legal redress or public opinion, or alternatively official people caught in personal situations that cause them embarrassment. Such forms of embarrassment do not need to be major in nature. The tiniest miscalculation or error can result in more official or public embarrassment, especially if this relates to safety of people. One example of this can be found in the Challenger spaceshuttle disaster, where human error prior to the launch resulted in the deaths of all the astronauts, NASA was publicly embarrassed and the errors/miscalculations could have been avoided had proper action been taken.

Of course, not every professional type embarrassment becomes so publicly known. Some events occur that create embarrassment, but for the person themselves. An example of this is when a political candidate loses an election. The person involved has not done anything wrong, but the hopes of many of the people supporting this person were dashed and as a result the candidate will feel embarrassment. Alternatively, a medical researcher can propose a theory that is widely upheld by the medical community, only to find that they did not account for something in that theory and someone proves the theory to be invalid. The researcher would not be publicly embarrassed as much as they would feel a lower level of personal embarrassment. Generally speaking, official or public embarrassment results in a public outrage, the denial of any involvement on the part of the person who caused the embarrassing situation, or an attempt to make the embarrassment not look as bad or serious as it appears. In some cases, the embarrassed party will take steps to remedy the situation by issuing press releases/statements ,resign their position, move, avoid the press or the general public, accept a demotion or loss of employment and may even behave as if there was nothing that occurred.

Personal Embarrassment can be more personal. In this case the person can have unwanted intrusion into their personal affairs or mistakes. Their character may even be questioned by others, especially when the embarrassment is as a result of such actions a lying, losing a competition, burping, passing wind or being caught in the act of sex. In some cultures, incorrect forms of dress are considered embarrassing. Another form of this embarrassment can come as the result of what other people do to the embarrassed person.

Some examples include a parent showing baby pictures to the boyfriend of their daughter that they hardly know, unwarranted comments or criticism about the way that person is attired or behaving, being the topic of unknown gossip, personal rejection, being pushed into being a focal point of attention, or seeing someone else getting embarrassed. When a person is personally embarrassed, for whatever reason, they can experience one or all of the following reactions: • Blushing • Nervousness • Sweating • Fidgeting • Stammering • Twitching

Most people will initially try to cover up their feeling of embarrassment by laughing in a nervous fashion or donning a weak smile. This is perfectly normal in situations where a breach of etiquette has occurred. In more embarrassing situations, though,a person, may faint, cry or even runaway. Embarrassment is a normal reaction to situations where a loss-of-face, mistake or even a willful error has been made. Each person has a different response to embarrassing situations, and dependant on the person's standards and the situation itself, the person may not feel embarrassed at all.

Job Interviews: Question, How do you motivate yourself?

Ed Bagley
Email: edbagley [@] comcast. net

A reader emailed me with this question: "I was in aninterview, and was asked this question: How do you motivateyourself? I could barely answer the question. What would you suggest?"

This is a great question that deserves a great answer. After managing dozens of employees over the years, I can tell you not what I think, but what I know. First, employees who do well and then lack motivation generally have a change of attitude. What is more important than what caused the change in attitude is recognizing that there has been a change in attitude.

Knowing this is important because attitude drives personality. A person with a good attitude generally has a good personality. A person with a bad attitude generallyhas a bad personality. You can change your attitude just as you change your employer, but if it means giving up a good salary and benefit package, why bother looking for another job when itis easier for you to change yourself?

Second, your change in motivation and energy level is almost always tied to your exercise or lack of exercise. A program of sustained exercise is not only a tremendous"stress buster" but also provides you with more energy, more motivation, better health, better decision-makingskills and a better attitude. So when you feel your motivation is on the wane, start an exercise program or return to exercising as a way to improve your motivation. Exercise pumps more oxygen into your bloodstream, clears your mind, improves yourself-image, increases your self-confidence and increases your energy level.

Third, learn to live with gratitude. When you lack motivation, remind yourself that there are many people who cannot find work to support their family, others who may not make the kind of money you are making, or have the kind of opportunities you have for advancement through production. Be thankful for everything good in your life. Be thankful for your health, your family, your friends and your employer who helps you generate income to support yourself and your family. We can make choices while those who are physically, mentally or emotionally challenged are less able to make the same choices. Perhaps the only thing worse than an ingrate is a capable person too lazy to work.

It was Abraham Lincoln who said "People are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." Williams James said "The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter their life by altering their attitude." Both statements show great insight and reflect truth that is beyond refute.

Fourth, learn to laugh at yourself and with others. Do not take yourself too seriously. Researchers have shown that people who cannot cope with their situation generally have low self-esteem, live in the past and cannot laugh at themselves. Laughter makes almost every situation better. Laughter can keep you going, keep your healthy and keep you motivated.

Finally, realize that motivation is an "inside" job. If you continually need your co-workers and boss to keep you motivated, you are seriously not in charge of yourself or your destiny. This is why motivation by intimation or reward for effort by your superiors cannot last. We will not tolerate intimation forever, and the rewards for production must continually increase to keep the production increasing, thereby increasing the cost until it exceeds the benefit to the employer.

The smartest, most successful employees motivate themselves and keep themselves motivated with exercise, gratitude and laughter.

Review: Russell Williams Family Restaurant
Location: Plains Road, Burlington ON

Review Rating: 5 Stars!

Russell Williams has the reputation for the ‘best breakfast’ in Burlington. After my last experience of ‘best of’ I went with a jaded eye.

Upon entering the casual restaurant what immediately caught my attention was that 95% of the seats were taken. Good sign- a full house usually means good fare.

The waitress greeted our table quickly, with the menu and coffee ready. Coffee is definitely a morning staple in my life. Okay- so a morning and afternoon staple. Giggles!

Russell Williams’s breakfast is reported to be so good that they serve it “all day long.” I chose the Breakfast Classic- with Ham, rye toast, no butter. Eggs over easy. Ham is trickier to cook in my opinion then bacon or sausage. This selection was only $5.50

The plate arrived quickly, over flowing with home fries, two large slices of ham and eggs cooked to perfection. And the toast, exactly as I asked, no butter. Might seem like a simple request to most. You would be surprised how many times I ask for no butter on my toast, only to have it covered in it.

So far, so good! As I ate I watched the waitress attend to the many customers easily, coffee ready for refills- while the plates came in and out the kitchen with ease. Service and attention to detail- 5 stars! Great service though can only go so far, if the food does not measure up.

I am happy to report that Russell Williams Family Restaurant lives up to its reputation. Their breakfast was cooked perfectly. I left with food on my plate, (sorry Mom!) however there was just no way I could finish the large portion served.

This is a great place to just kick back and enjoy a great meal. When you arrive the sign says “Please Seat Yourself.” Russell Williams is exactly what it proclaims to be-- a relaxed casual family restaurant- with fair prices, great service and wonderful food.

The Ham? Perfect!

Succeeding One Punch at a Time

Author: Barry Maher

A lot of us dream of starting our own business. It’s not easy. It’s not safe. That’s why so many of us do little more than dream. But: A number of years ago, 45 cab drivers in Madison, Wisconsin were "tired of being ripped off" by the cab companies they worked for. They pooled every penny they could scrape together, got a bank loan and started a co-op, Union Cab of Madison. It's now a 100 vehicle, $5 million a year business. And while some of the member/owners might be able to make more money elsewhere, at Union they have a voice in the business.

They don't have to make compromises in their lifestyles, self-respect or work environment that they don't chose to make. Their boss, the general manager, works for them. A co-op of home health care aides, Cooperative Home Care Associates, is comprised largely of women who used to be on welfare. Few competitors can match their training program, and they pay themselves 20 percent more than the industry average.

People have built businesses out of walking dogs or waiting for repairmen or hawking newspapers, flowers or even fresh brewed coffee to motorists stuck in traffic. In Japan, a former boxer charged $9 a minute to let passers-by work off their stress by treating him as a human punching bag. Maybe that doesn't sound like much of a job to you. Maybe it sounds better than the job you've got right now.

For true entrepreneurial courage it's hard to beat single mom, Theresa Gladden. Unemployed, she had $50 to last her 45 days. Instead of trying to stretch the money, she invested it in socks. Not stocks, socks. Then she decorated a cart, pushed her fears aside and sold the socks on the street in the middle of Harlem. It got her through the crunch and today she's part of the co-op of home health care aides I mentioned earlier. Whenever I hear myself or anyone else with a full stomach, a fat paycheck and money in the bank pontificating about risk taking, I think of Theresa.

Starting a business is not for everyone. It's seldom easy. It's never a sure thing. But as a great marketing man once said, "Every crowd has a silver lining." The opportunities are always there. Tactic: Look for a problem, a frustration, an annoyance, a want, a hope or a dream: a need you can fulfill. If enough people have that need you're in business.

Tip: Your biggest weakness could turn out to be your most marketable quality.Maybe you're a detail freak or maybe you're strictly big picture; a compulsive organizer or compulsively disorganized; anti-social or overly social; lethargic or so full of energy you can't sit still. Why find not a career that turns your potential negatives into positives rather than one that makes them liabilities? Just Sit Down and ConsultTactic: Perhaps like myself and so many other otherwise unemployable entrepreneurs, you can go into consulting. A consultant, Eric Severeid said, is simply "an ordinary guy more than 50 miles from home." Still, you might be amazed at how many people or companies are willing to pay for the hard-earned knowledge you've acquired over the years. What are your strongest skills? Who out there might benefit from them?

If nothing else perhaps you've got a special talent for sitting down that you could pass on to others. A while back, the Seattle Police Department required 26 employees to attend a training class on how to sit in a chair. This coming after chairs rolled out from under two workers and a third hurt her back when her adjustable seat abruptly slipped. If time permitted, the instructor was also going to cover other office terrors, like open cabinet drawers. You could do that.

Attracting High-End Customers To Explode Your Productivity & Profit

Author: Carolyn McCormick, Your Success Coach For Life

Attracting high-end clients can literally begin to create overnight success in your business. When you are working your business at the lower-end spectrum, selling low-cost products orservices, there is much more time, frustration and work involved in the process of running and building your business. What's Your Customer Worth? Suppose you own a bakery. Every day you hit the floor running at 4 am to bake pastries, desserts and cookies. Your pastriesand desserts are the best tasting in town. Each customer walks in, buys one or two of your delectable goodies, raves how good they taste and drops down a $5 bill.

It takes A LOT of customers coming to your bakery to make a good living with this business model. You're talented. You're good at what you do. You work hard. But here lies several fundamental flaws in your business that can turn your passion into a prison. First, you have to get up before the sun to bake all the goods, so they are ready for morning coffee breaks by 7 am.

Second, you only get $5-$10 persale on the average. It takes a lot of work and lots of customers to make a successful business with this model. Thisbusiness model requires massive quantity of customers each yearto enjoy a successful business, and that requires hiring a teamof employees.

Take an author who has written a book and plans to make a nice income from his book sales. His book sells for $20. Like our baker, it will take A LOT of book sales to generate a nice income. Unless they have something bigger to sell on the back-end, the baker and author are working much too hard for too little income. Now, suppose our baker starts selling wedding cakes in addition to pastries and desserts. She runs promotions growing her business with high-end wedding cakes. She has the talent and thetraining for this. She has all the equipment. She sells her first wedding cake for $250. Then another. It doesn't take many wedding cakes sales to transform her business. She hires anassistant to bake the pastries and desserts, and she now focuses on high- end wedding cakes. Her business doubles or triples with this new business model with less effort.

A customer is now worth $250 to her, not $5. Back to our author. . .He now adds a one day workshop teaching in more depth the information in his book. Suddenly each customer is now worth $200 to him, instead of $20. Soon our author turns his one-day workshop into a weekend seminar and starts charging $1295. What excites you more--having a client worth $20 to you, or having a client worth $1295 to you---and more? What is the higher-end product or service you can offer your customer?

By shifting your focus to a higher- end business model, you can dramatically increase your business revenues. Not only will you enjoy more income, you will also enjoy more time and peace of mind. Using these simple strategies, you can transform your business into a highly productive and profitable venture.

Her goal is to finish Forbidden Fruit and her winter tour, when Rivers called me to announce that this will be her last novel I was quite candidly floored with the news. her announcement distressed her fans, supporters and media alike. After sending out the first unofficial announcement, I had over 4,000 emails in two hours! Everyone was in complete shock and awe that Tilly will no longer be writing after this release and tour.

Recently she has been approached by several adult organizations regarding the possibility of them sponsoring her tour. Tilly does not plan on mentioning who these companies are until she has made a firm decision. There are two USA companies, and two Canadian companies who have offered similar proposals that we are aware of- if there are more Tilly is not saying, her only comment was she was sure the ‘extra’ attention is due to her announcement. My reply back was, of course it is, anyone of these organizations know that this being your last tour will generate even more sales than normal.

Tilly says she would like to thank her fans for their continued support and letters- as well as a special thank you for New York City- where her career really took off. Her reason for “retiring?” Tilly said that due to personal health issues she wishes to make her friends and family the most important focus in her life.

Marketing with Craiglist

Why Marketing With Craigslist Is Effective And Cost Efficient
Author: Andrew

Every true salesman knows what the best key to selling any product or service is. Do you want to know the answer? Well if you do, the answer is very simple. Marketing! Marketing is truly the greatest way to reach people and make them want to buy whatever it is that you are selling.

There are several ways to effectively market and make money. You might think it is expensive, but you would be absolutely wrong. There is a place where you can market and make money for no dollars and no pennies at all. Are you stumped like the fat oak tree that sits in your grandma´s back yard? If you are, let me up root you.

By marketing with Craigslist, you don´t have to spend any money to make the big bucks you want to make. Everyone that has the Internet and hasn´t been living under a rock these last few years knows about Craigslist. It is a completely free service in which you can sell and market from and millions of people will see you advertisement. Many people don´t really understand what marketing is so let me enlighten you if you are on of these individuals.

Marketing is a strategy basically in which you are trying to hook people and make money. Some people are better at doing this than others. When you properly market whatever you are trying to get rid of, you cansell anything. So by marketing with Craigslist, you are takingthe first step in great marketing. As I mentioned earlier, Craigslist is a fee free service so you give yourself the opportunity to make as many bucks as possible without cutting into your profits. The big advantage of marketing with Craigs list is this though. Millions of people go to Craigslist everyday and browse around as if they were in a department store looking for clothes.

So say you are trying to market your business and are trying to attract people to see what you are all about. All you have to do is go to the"Services" part of Craigs list and post an add so it will be put into this section of Craigs list. It is up to you to cleverly market your business so people will be drawn and interested in your company. But it is that easy to market with Craigslist and make money from using this service.

Craigslist is also really cool because you can target a specific area in which you are trying to attract customers or potential buyers. Maybe you live in Memphis, Tennessee or you live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, there is a Craigslist for that area. People who live in these regions will look on the Craigslist designed for these cities so when they see your marketing strategy they know it is local and won´t hesitate to call you or email you about whatever it is is you are marketing.

It is a nice advantage to have when you are trying to make money. It is hard to sell your company to people who live in Sacramento, California when you are working out of Mazatlan, Sinaloa. Marketing is the best tool in selling products, services, or your business. Marketing with Craigslist is super good because millions of people are able to see it and it is totally free!

Try it out if you are trying to market something and see the wonderful results.

Baked Trout for Two with Fennel and Orange

One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.
~Virgina Woolf~

A romantic meal can often be the prelude to an intimate evening. The goal of this book is to bring you the best in fantastic food, delicious humor, intimate food and beverage games, and a mix of interesting sexual facts and fun.

Baked Trout for Two with Fennel & Orange

Did you know…Aphrodite, whose name is the root of the word aphrodisiac- considered fish and fennel as scared? Jupiter gave Juno an orange on their wedding day, thus associating oranges as the ‘fruit of love.” Dinonysus, one of Aphrodite’s lovers used black pepper and wine as scared secret ingredients to stimulate the libido.

Rated: 9 out of 10 kisses!

1 oz. butter
2 medium rainbow trout, cleaned
½ tsp fennel seeds
2 oranges, cut into thin strips (including rind and pulp, try to keep as much of the juice as possible, remove seeds)
1 ¼ cups sweet vermouth
Salt and freshly ground pepper
Springs of fresh fennel

Preheat oven to 440 degrees (F) - butter a shallow dish (preferable clay- but any modern shallow roasting pan will work) and place the trout inside. Dot with butter and sprinkle with fennel seeds. Scatter the juice, pulp and rind strips over the fish, then add the vermouth. Season with salt and pepper. Cover with clay lid, or foil for 25 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve with pan juices, garnish with fresh fennel sprigs. Sometimes this dish is also topped with a pat of chilled herbed butter.

How to Restore Your Credit Card Score After Identity Theft

Author Wade Robins

Credit card identity theft where your credit card is stolen,
your PIN is stolen or someone opens another credit card in your
name, can all be particularly damaging to your credit score.
Unfortunately a credit score isn't so easily restored but there
are a couple of things you can do to make the best of the
situation and restore it as much as possible. In this article we
will look at what you should do before and after credit card
identity theft in order to best protect and restore your credit
score.

The first thing you should do whenever you receive a new credit
card is to make photocopies of both sides of the card and file
these away in a safe place. This way if your credit card goes
missing or you believe it may have been compromised you can
immediately put a stop to it.

Regularly request credit reports on your name. These credit
reports will show you whether any other credit cards have been
opened in your name that you do not know about. The sooner you
find out that a card has been opened in your name that is
incorrect the sooner you will be able to put a stop to it and
prevent any damage from occurring.

Only carry around with you those credit cards that you are
going to be using and try to keep a minimum of credit cards.

If you discover that your credit card has gone missing or if
there is any chance that your credit card information may have
been compromised and used in credit card identity theft then the
first thing you should do is to stop the relevant card or cards.
Phone the card issuer and let them know that you believe you may
have been a victim of credit card identity theft and if they
could immediately put a stop to all purchases on the card.

You should also contact one of the credit card bureaus if you
believe you have been a victim of credit card identity theft and
report the matter to them. They can then put a fraud alert on
your credit report which will make it more difficult for anyone
to open another account in your name.

File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and with the
local police station where the ID theft took place and give them
a copy of your form from the FTC. For more info see
http://www.preventi dentitythefthelp .com/Identity_ Theft_Protection
on identity theft protection.

By following these preventative measures and taking action if
you believe you have been a victim of credit card identity theft
you will be in a much better place to restore your credit score
if anything does happen and will hopefully be able to prevent
too much damage taking place from the start.

Seven Myths About Debt You Might Believe (at Your Peril)

Author: Jo Ann LeQuang
Email: joann @ leqmedical. com

Debt is the sort of subject that people keep to themselves.
There is a lot of interior monologue going on about debt,
but not much real conversation.

In that kind of climate, a lot of wrong beliefs can spring
up. While some mistaken ideas about debt may be academic
matter or of not much consequence, some can be serious.

In fact, to really tackle your debt problem you have to
understand it. Part of that means understanding your own
spending habits and personal situation. I can't help you
there.

But the other part means understanding debt and how it
works.

Here are seven common myths people believe about debts.

The first: debt is a recent phenomenon.

Many of us think that it is our modern, overextended
lifestyle that contributes to debt and that in ancient
times, people just did not have the same problem with money
that we do. That's not true. Provisions for bankruptcy
protection appear in the United States Constitution (1763).

Debtors' prisons were common in the industrial revolution.
And in Biblical times, people who were in debt might sell
themselves into slavery to appease a creditor. The truth is
debt has been around about a half hour after the creation
of money.

The second myth: debt shows a lack of character.

Now it is true that a disreputable person can easily get
himself or herself into debt, but debt is not in and of
itself a character flaw. Debt occurs because of a
convergence of unfortunate financial circumstances. This
may be avoidable or unavoidable. However, the debt that
results does not prove anything about the person who has it.

Debt is a problem, but it's not evidence you are a failure.

The third myth: debt is just something you have to live
with.

This is a dangerous myth because debt is like a bleeding
wound. You really cannot afford to leave it untended too
long.

I sometimes think that debt is a lot like obesity. If that
is your problem, you have to fight it. You can't afford to
ignore it or pretend it's not a problem.

Debt robs you of your future prosperity; it drains the
resources you and your family need.

The fourth myth: everybody is in debt.

It's easy to see why people believe this, because so many
people are massively in debt. But do you know what? A good
many people have no debt. In fact, the majority of people
in the U.S. have manageable amounts of debt in proportion
to their incomes. Overwhelming debt is not something most
people deal with.

That's good news if you have overwhelming debt. Do you know
why? It means it's possible to live another way. In fact,
most people do. If they can do it, so can you!

The fifth myth: it takes forever to get out of debt.

That myth is true if you just wish you were out of debt or
you have some lackadaisical approach to it. Do you know
that there are coaches who can take an unfit person and
train him or her to complete a marathon in six months?
People can lose 100 pounds in a year. Some people can make
a fortune or complete a degree in four years. The point is
that great things can be accomplished even in unlikely
individuals if you do two things: get a plan and follow the
plan.

People have paid off very large debts in fairly short
amounts of time with the right plan and coaching.

The sixth myth: debt doesn't matter.

Fortunately, this one is not as common as some of the
others. However, it's very destructive. Typically, people
who buy into this myth grew up in households that were very
comfortable with high amounts of debt. This does not always
create the proper perspective for future financial security!

Debt wastes large amount of your money and can cause your
family to burn up high amounts of income on average-levels
of lifestyle.

The last myth that people believe about debt is that you
can't handle debt (you need to hire an expert to help you).

It is true that there are lots of people and businesses who
specialize in helping people with debt. But be very
careful. To enjoy good financial health, you have to learn
how to take care of your own money.

This means that handing over a large amount of money to a
debt company that promises to take care of your problems
(so you can walk away) may be a dangerous decision. Here's
why. If you don't understand what they're doing with your
money, you are giving them a good opportunity to rip you
off. It can be the financial equivalent of handing your
wallet to a stranger and saying, "Take what you want."

Second, if you don't know how you wound up in debt, you
won't be able to get out.

Debt consolidation is an approach to handling debt but it's
a term that is frequently used carelessly online.
Technically, debt consolidation just repackages or
reorganizes debt in a way that makes it more favorable.

However, many companies who offer to settle or negotiate
your debt (get your creditors to take less than you owe)
call their services debt consolidation. There are a lot of
myths out there about debt and how to manage your debt. An
education can be the best defense!

The Concept of Book Marketing Networks

Author: DustinCannon

For authors and readers alike, there are many ways to promote the books that they write and love to read. If you are at an end on how to market your books, poems or even articles then try a book marketing network. It is just what it sounds like, an online network to market what you have written. If you no longer want to wait around for publishers' acceptance or rejection letters, then you need to think about marketing your literature on your own with the help of a book marketing network.

One ofthe easiest ways to do so is to get onto one of those websites that let you have your own page for free and blog like crazy. You can even devote the whole entire page to your career as a writer and use the "about me" section as a type of resume. There is also a networking section on these pages which will work to your advantage because you can let others know there that you are an author or avid reader. The blogs can act as updates on your writing or anything else you'd like to add. You can even do this hassle free – just hire someone else to market your book for you. You could even purchase banners that go on the tops of web pages to advertise your work for a pay per click basis with the host page.

Submitting your literature to a book reviewer is another great way to network yourself. This only works, however, if you are willing to take constructive criticism because that is what you will get. Doing the book reviews will help market your literature in the good old fashioned way: word of mouth. The reviews can be submitted in articles online, in newspapers or magazines and even on television.

Another great way to market your own literature is to join a book marketing network group or website. These groups allow authors to not only promote themselves but all of their work as well. The groups' members can consist of authors, readers, reviewers and publishers so it can work to your advantage. Be friend these people and you can make a lifetime commitment that will only do you good. One person can help you create anetwork which will market your work; it starts off with you asking for help in whatever area you need it in. On these marketing network groups, they have subgroups for whatever you need: Christian authors, novelists, fantasy or science fiction, even book reviewers.

There are a ton of tools out there to help someone market their work; you just need to look for them. Many experts give presentations or luncheons as well as have newsletters and magazines published with their own personal tips on how to get started on marketing your literature.

E booklets have become quiet popular as they allow the authors to stay at their computer to continue writing as they read up on how to go about selling it.

Can Drinking Water Slow the Effects of Aging?

Author: James Schramko

As we age, our skin becomes drier. Our production of sebum decreases, and our cells are more prone to losing moisture. Dry, lined skin is the result. Doctors tell us that drinking enough water is the key to keeping all of our cells hydrated, including those of our skin. Is drinking lots of water really beneficial to the skin? Can it slow the signs of aging, reduce wrinkles or ease problem blemishes?

Let's look at the role of water in the skin. Our bodies are composed of 70% water. Skin is the largest organ of the body. It follows that our skin contains a lot-o-f water! Our cells need constant hydration. Although moisturizers are useful in keeping skin from drying out, nothing can take the place of drinking three to four pints of water daily. Water purifies. It increases blood flow efficiency to help carry toxins out of the body. This happens on both a systemic and on a cellular level. This aids the transport of toxins through the kidneys and liver, which are filtering organs, preventing them from traveling to cells all over the body. Water also helps the body flush waste from individual cells, keeping them healthy. As well as helping to transport toxins and impurities away from the skin, it also carries vitamins and minerals into the cells.

Dry skin is, of course, the first sign that your body is not getting enough water. The resultant fine lines will deepen into serious wrinkles. Baggy skin under the eyes is another sign. If you gently pinch the sensitive skin under your eye and it does not quickly bounce back to its original shape, this can be a sign of dehydration. Puffy eyes and dark circles are also results of not getting enough water. Blemishes are often a problem for those in the aging population. The build up of oils and impurities in the cells of the skin leads to redness and inflammation. Those eight ounces of water every day can help to gently flush away excess oils and toxins that lead to blemishes.

Using a good moisturizer is a great weapon in your battle against aging, blemished skin. Quality moisturizers have a rich formula that will lock in the natural moisture in your skin, increasing the benefits of all that water you're drinking! In addition, the very best moisturizers have ingredients including a wide variety of anti-oxidants, collagen stimulators and wrinkle aids will keep your skin looking and feeling young, smooth and blemish-free.
